This workshop is exclusively for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

In this hands-on workshop, we will explore the basics of summer pruning for fruit trees. Summer pruning helps control vigor, encourage early spur development, and keep trees small. With small-group instruction, you will be able to practice your skills on a number of trees. This is a great introduction to summer pruning or an opportunity to hone your skills!

The workshop will take place at CROPS farm which is tended by the folks at Feed'em Freedom Foundation/Mudbone Grown

If you have a pair of pruners or gloves feel free to bring them, we will also have some for your to borrow.

Please dress for the weather and bring water!
