Join us as we harvest figs and quince, and clean up the orchard a bit!

Fruits of Diversity Community Orchard (FOD) in North Portland was created by and for the community with the goal to provide access to fresh fruit to residents of the Tamarack Apartments, New Columbia, and other North Portland community members while also cultivating community leaders and educational opportunities to learn about fruit production. Village Gardens manages the Orchard and PFTP tries to help out when we can! The harvested fruit will be distributed through Village Gardens.

The orchard is home to over 48 fruit trees, dozens of edible shrubs, medicinal and culinary herbs, native plants for pollinators, and so much more. Each year, the orchard grows in maturity and productivity.
