At this event we will be harvesting "Lilac" or "Date Plum" persimmons. Native to Southeast Asian, this is one of the oldest known fruits in cultivation! We will also be harvesting some Fuyu persimmons too. The harvested fruit will go to the Asian Food Pantry at Hollywood Senior Center. 

All harvest volunteers need to have completed our online training and have a waiver on file. Please let us know if you need help on either front.
