At this event, we will be mulching AND also starting our tree indexing project and collecting data from the trees in our orchard there! Join us in starting this exciting project of indexing fruit trees in Portland!

This space is a young orchard of well-cared-for trees, with lots of different varieties of fruit and native plants to explore. We will be weeding the tree bases, pruning back the native plants, and mulching. This is a lovely space and we will have many opportunities to learn and harvest from these trees in collaboration with the Parkrose Community United Church of Christ.
