Sat, Aug 21, 2021    10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Come learn to sew harvest aprons in this partnership between Bolt Fabric, Alder Commons, and Portland Fruit Tree Project (PFTP)! Aprons can be kept or donate to PFTP for our harvest opportunities!

10am-1pm: beginning sewing lesson for those new to the skill

1:30pm-5pm: intermediate sewing time for people who are experienced and would like to help in a volunteer-party style opportunity to create several aprons in a few hours

Machines are being loaned through Bolt and a variety of fabric has been donated. If you would like to bring your own fabric, or donate some to the project, it should be light-medium weight, non-stretchy cotton. For the intermediate session, please feel free to bring your own machine, too!

All fees will be used to pay instructor, Adrianna Aguirre.
