Sun, Aug 29, 2021    1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

In this hands-on workshop we will explore the basics of summer pruning, with a focus on pome fruits such as apple, pear, and quince trees. Summer pruning helps control vigor, encourage early spur development, and keep trees small. With small-group instruction, you will be able to practice your skills on a number of well-maintained trees. This is a great introduction to summer pruning or opportunity to hone your skills!
