Learn more about practical permaculture for the home orchard and garden with Meg Payne of Wild Rose farm and Floral! Diversity in the garden and understory is key to cultivating a home for beneficial insects and pollinators alike. This hour long online workshop will set us all up for fostering more resiliency in the landscapes around us.

Description: Explore the tenets of permaculture such as polyculture, companion planting, and guilds, and how they can be applied in your home garden or orchard. Attendees will be guided through the important elements to consider when planning to diversify your garden, as well as what types of plants can be selected to fulfill many roles--pollinator attractant, soil builder, cut-flower-generator and more!

About the instructor: Meg Payne is a secret garden fairy that grew up into an adult. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Meg has been working with and exploring plants for as long as they can remember. Trained in permaculture design, organic farming, seasonal floral design, and regenerative landscaping—Meg is well versed in building aesthetically pleasing multi-functional habitats for all species to thrive.

(Workshop will be recorded and sent to registered attendees.)
