Help us preserve some of our B-fruit through dehydration and canning! As usual, this effort will be led by our resident Master Canner, Heather.

Why fruit preservation? Preservation allows us to rescue fresh fruit that isn't of a high enough quality to donate directly to community partner organizations. This “B-grade” fruit can be dried, freeze-dried, canned, turned into jellies and jams, turned into vinegar, or pressed into cider! The products are then sold at fairs and farmer’s markets, distributed to our Seasonal Spread subscribers, and/or donated.
